Youtube stops buffering

When I open some music lets say on my chrome and switch to a game on my 1st monitor it stops buffering the video and at some point stops and even auto lowers the quality to minimum until i click on chrome again(switch to it) and it resumes loading normally. I was like ok I can live with that because my game is on windowed mode and i just click on chrome for a second and go back but now it got even worse. Sometimes switching to chrome wont even resume the buffer, I have to either rewind the video few seconds or completely reload the page to start loading again. Tested if the problem is only on chrome but Edge is the same. Never had these kinds of problems with win7 but my new mb is win10 only.

Sounds like a QoS issue. You might have to tweak some settings with your network card or in your router. Try disabling any QoS settings and make sure WMM is enabled.

Sorry but I dont know how exactly to do that, can you send some tutorial link or instructions ?

P.S. - I found QoS and I see that my "Limit Reservable Bandwidth" is unconfigured which by default means that 80% of internet is limited. What % should I put it on and what is WMM ? Also in my device manager under network adapters there's only 1 Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, is that ok ?

Generally, you will want the QoS completely disabled. Can you give the make of your router? Since you're using Ethernet, WMM won't matter then. Maybe try using Firefox to see if the issue still occurs.

I took a look at the manual for the router. It seems like there is a "bandwidth control" setting. Make sure that is disabled. Upon further research, it seems that the "limit reservable bandwidth" might have no affect as that only comes into play when Windows needs to use network bandwidth for updates etc. If you are using the built in network card, you might want to play around with some of the settings.
