Question Youtube videos sound garbled on corded headphones ?

Hello,
We are having an odd problem: Youtube videos play garbled sound on Bose QC 45 and Bose Soundsport when they are using the corded connection with the Acer Aspire Vero. We tried the Edge, Chrome and Brave browser with no difference in the problem. It works fine with a bluetooth connection to the Bose QC45.
The corded connection works also without issues when a video is played in the media player.
All drivers are up to date.
An external Soundblaster card faces the same problem with the corded headphones.
Anybody having an idea how to fix this?

Try disabling hardware acceleration in the browser settings.

Try updating the audio adapter driver. What is the EXACT model of your Vero? Including the submodel.

Also, what is the current BIOS version?

just a heads up, make sure you update the bose firmware.
if you have a realtek sound chip on the motherboard, make sure the driver is updated to a version dated in 2020 or newer. Older versions had a bug that would cause the driver to respond to other audio drivers sound request resulting in sound corruption.
