This would make a ton of sense, an a380 would make a nice single slot card. No one has made the effort to put one together yet is the issue.

I’m just surprised that a single offering from Minisforum is able to motivate so much DIY innovation. IIRC, someone also modded an Nvidia RTX 4000 Ada (SFF) to be single slot instead of dual slot. I suspect cooling for many other powerful cards are overspecced and could be made smaller for this market.

Almost every review of the MS-01 wished it had the option of using dual slot LP GPU.
Some of them wanted the ability to use >75W GPUs with it.
Is there something else remotely competitive in that sub 2L (1.78L) size?

IMO, I think most Gaming SFF enthusiasts want a mini-PC that can fit a full height, dual slot GPU in a sub 3L case.
