Do i need a Z mobo to overclock or not? because my B365 mobo have the option to overclock but its not doing anything

Memory is about the only thing you can touch on the B series. Z is indeed required for cpu frequency OCs.

Yep to overclock on any Intel K cpu you need a Z motherboard. What CPU do you have?

The 9600K will require a Z370/Z390 motherboard to unlock the full potential for overclocking and it overclocks very well... Even a low end Z390 would do the job.
