Z170 gaming pc won't boot to windows

Just finished first ever build and all looked good got into bios too select boot drive F10 to save and reboot then W10 logo appears with the timer logo spinning saying nothing or preparing auto repair then i get is BSOD with various problems "Your pc ran into problem and needs to restart" - memory_management or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.

I used some components out of my old Chillblast build
PSU thermaltake tough power 750watt
SSD samsung 840 evo 750gb - new
HDD seagate barracuda 7200.11 500gb - which isn't recognised in the bios?
Disc driver - LG bluray
New parts
Case - Phanteks Enthoo Luxe black
MB - MSI Z170 gaming m5
CPU - i5 6600k
RAM - G.SKILL RIPJAWS V DDR4 F4-2400C15-8GVR 2 sticks 8gb
Cooler - NZXT X61 KRAKEN
GPU - MSI GTX 970 twinfrozr 4gb
M2 - Samsung sata 256gb - which i have removed for the moment
Mood lighting - NZXT Hue - brilliant but adhesive is poor

Bios is ver 1.1 - 1.2 has just been released thouht i would boot in and download a copy
Tried several bios ,configurations and then reset the CMOS back to default bridging the jumpers as in manual been throuh manual tried with m2 card in wanted to boot from that even after reconfiguring bios
Tried using the windows os configuration for both W7 & W8.1 / 10

Recently upgraded to W10 pro 64 bit

Give me back my old clunky american trends bios

Any help would be appreciated as this is my first ever build

RAM issue is likely. Clear your CMOS and remove any overclock you have. You should not update the BIOS unless it is needed. Can you get back into the BIOS?

Hi IntelTurtleFan - yes I can access BIOS and i haven't overclocked the system wanted to ensure it was stable first - I have cleared the CMOS once by shorting out the pins as per the manual as there is no clear cmos button on this board.

Hi Sizzling no it wasn't a clean install as I was using my old SSD from my other PC and that worked fine so was sure it would boot in - how wrong could i have been.

I went on the forum because over the past few years it has provided me with a lot of help on minor problems so when i finally needed some proper help i had 2 followers trying to assist me but they didn't provide much help as i only received 2 questions and no follow ups as you can see.
As it turns out it was the BIOS i had ver 1.1 and in the last few days 1.4 came out with compatibility updates and presto it is working I can boot in now in a 20 seconds instead of a minute and using the gaming mode is OC from 3.5 to 4.2 with just a click of a button not bad.
So for anyone buying one of the new Z170 boards and having trouble booting in install the latest Bios 1st and just see if that resolves if not keep checking as i got the MB on the 28th August and it is now the 10th September and there have been 3 revisions already (board install Bios 1.1 and latest version 1.4 8/9/2015) and i didn't need to do a fresh install so i have all my programs and documents etc. nothing lost. Love the Live Update 6 app one click and all the utilities and updated as well - full steam ahead can't wait to try it out on Fallout 4 & Doom 4.
