Z170-HD3P with i7 7700K

I am currently using the Gigabyte GA Z170-HD3P mobo with a i5 6600k but considering upgrading to the i7 7700k.I updated the BIOS to F22d version already with the skylake cpu and runs smooth for 2 months now.Is there any need to upgrade to the newer BIOS F22e for the i7 7700k?

You do not need to update. Look in the CPU Support list. The i7-7700K is supported since BIOS version F20.

But you should probably have the latest BIOS update in any case for some security vulnerabilities.
