[SOLVED] Z170A SLI PLUS no boot

I used this PC for over 2-3 years now and everything worked perfectly fine until I recently moved. I moved the case with care but it seems I wasn't careful enough. So now when I turn the PC on there is:

• no beep
• no post
• no video
• CPU light turns on for half a second and then goes off
• DRAM light stays on
• GPU fans start spinning and then stop

What I tried so far and didn't work:

• Removing the GPU and connecting monitor to motherboard (both HDMI and DVI).
• Moving RAMS around. Testing with a single RAM in all 4 slots.
• Resetting CMOS by short circuiting the JBAT1 jumper for 10 seconds (light up a blue LED while short circuited, not sure if this is normal)
• Resetting CMOS by removing the battery for a minute

None of the above worked and I'm really out of ideas. Any idea how to debug further?

• Core i7-6700K
• 2x8 DDR4-3000 XPG ADATA
• NVIDIA 1080 MSI

If internal speaker (not audio speakers) connected, any beeps when starting the board with no RAMs?

no, there is no beep without the ram.

Then board, or CPU, assuming that the power supply does work.

oops! anyway to tell if PSU is broken without changing it? don't have spare.
