Hi,

Ive got the MSI Z390 - A Pro and I need some help as I'm finding it difficult to understand when it comes to ARGB.

Ive bought the following:
Corsair Commander Pro core XT
Corsair H100i RGB Pro XT AIO
Corsair LL120 RGB fans. (3Pack)

I understand that my motherboard has 12V rgb header (4pin) and that I need 5v 3pin header normally. A friend has the same motherboard and explained he connected everything with the deepcool rgb 5v to 12v converter. (although he doesnt have the commander pro core XT). Am I correct to say that I can just install my commander pro core XT, connect via SATA & USB to mobo and just connect the H100i RGB & Corsair LL120 fans to the commander pro XT and control the argb/fan speed etc through the ICUE software? Or do I need to use that converter somehow to connect to the commander pro core XT? Will this work or do I not need to do anything with my 12V headers on my mobo? I hope this makes sense lol.

Thanks for any advice!
