Question Z390 Aorus Master/RGB Fusion 2.0 doesn't recognize RGB fans

Hi guys,

I just built my new PC and I can't figure out how to control the RGB on my fans. I've hooked up two corsair ML120 RGB fans to the RGB headers on my Z390 Aorus Master, but RGB Fusion 2.0 doesn't recognize the fans or give me any sort of control over the lighting, even though it does recognize my vengeance pro rgb ram. I don't currently have a corsair fan hub.
Any ideas for how to control those fans?

I am sorry but you ll need a fan hub. The 4 Rgb leds behind each fan axle are 5v WS2812b diodes . Each LED features an integrated digital controller and they have to be connected to a 5v digital led out on the hub or the motherboard. You either have to buy a proprietary hub as the one you mentioned or connect both RGB fan cables on the motherboards digital led port with a Y splitter adaptor cable (1-to-2 Addressable RGB LED Splitter Cable) and make a compromise as it will be hard or impossible to synchronize them. The other solution wich I am inclined to pursue is using an external wifi digital Led strip controller as SP108E and avoid plugging extra leds to my motherboard whatsoever.
