I'm building inside a Cougar QBX and have to decide between these boards.

I'm aware the ASRock is the best reviewed board around the web because of its VRMs, but I'm probably only going to go for a small 4.5 or 4.6 Ghz overclock on an i5-9600K (if that) so I'm not sure I need all that power or those heatsinks.

I'm wondering if I can save $50 on the Gigabyte board without sacrificing any other key features. I also know the ASRock has Thunderbolt 3 (I don't think this is important to me) and a beefy M.2 heatsink, but I'm not sure how important that is? I think decent quality and reliability of the board are the most important to me, and it would be nice to have a bio that isn't too difficult to play with.

Can you please offer any insights you have? Should I splurge on the ASRock or save on the gigabyte?

Main parts:
-i5 9600K
-RTX 2080 ti
-650w Corsair PSU
-Cougar QBX
-2x m.2 NVME SSD

Thanks for your suggestions!
