Hey guy I have recently bought this z390 UD motherboard and I would like too know how I can connect my second monitor to my mobo while my main one is on the gpu.

So far it will not detect the second monitor I went into my bios settings trying to figure out if i have to enable internal graphics but maybe that is the wrong option.

Im new to this pc stuff so apologies if i sound dumb..

Solution
There should be a bios setting that enables it again (automatically diasbled when pci card added) but remember that simply having the igpu turned on will increase temps

Well I have a-lot of hdmi cables just sitting around and my gpu only has only one slot for an hdmi. Unless its really difficult to figure it out ill have to buy the required cable..

what do you mean by "simply having the igpu turned on will increase temps" if you mean it will lower performance on stuff then ill just buy the cable..

Once you enable the igpu in bios again it will begin to work, which sounds good but it'll also put off it's own heat making the amount of heat your cpu cooler has to get rid of higher. It may not make a massive difference but it will make some

thank you for telling me this then ill just buy the DisplayPort instead thank you so much :)
