Hi,
I cant get this figgured out so im turning to the professionals for help.

I bought a motherboard that is used in the Z400 HP workstation. Its called: FMB-0902. I am trying to get it to work in a new computer case. (model: Svive Luna S700 W Midi Tower)

This may be a rookie mistake but how/where do i connect the power button and the rest of the cables? I cant get the computer to start.

Found this thread but i could not get it to work:

For pictures, see below.

Please someone be my hero and help me, thank you in advance!

The guy in the thread i linked seemed to have found a solution.

Are there no other dirty trick i can make? I have the old Z400 case with all the cables and stuff.

I have a Z400 motherboard running perfectly in a standard ATX case with a standard ATX Corsair power supply. While SR-71 Blackbird is correct about the fact that both the front panel and PSU connections are proprietary to the Z400 workstation, the power button is plug and play once you can find the pins for it, and modding a 24-Pin extender cable into a Z400 PSU adapter is not hard if you know how to safely do simple wiring.

The Z400 motherboard is a great, cheap way to get into the LGA1366 platform with all those glorious 6-core Xeons. There's a huge community of people who have modded these machines as well as the Dell Precision T3500s and made them into overclocked performance beasts. Modding is still required, but it poses as a challenge for those of us who want high performance systems for dirt cheap.

daddelo, good luck with your system!
