Question Z590 & 11700k showing pcie 3.0 help!

Hi I just upgraded to i7 11700k
With
Msi gaming plus z590 mobo

i am using a 1080ti GPU

and is showing as only pcie3.0 on tech power up GPUZ

how can I change in bios or in windows to make it run at pcie4.0

All help appreciated

This far

i went into
Bios/settings/advanced/Pcie/pcie sub system
Set Peg0 to Gen 4
Set peg1 to gen4

But is still showing on Test as pcie3.0

Thought that might be the case coz the nvme is running at 4.0
