Z60 Headset Compatibility With Windows 10?

I have just purchased a pair of Turtle Beach Z60's for my newly built gaming PC and i want to know if they will be compatible with Windows 10.

I know some headsets will not support certain Operating Systems, so i just wanted to check.

The manufacturer's product page only confirms the Z60 is supported up to (and including) Windows 8.1, but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't work on Windows 10, just means they haven't tested it on Windows 10.

As long as you install the Windows 10 onboard audio drivers, then it should work fine. People that experienced issues with it have not updated their audio drivers for Windows 10.

May i ask also, how well does your dual-boot Windows setup work? I currently have Windows 8.1 Pro and was going to upgrade but your opinion on the dual-boot? Thanks.

I installed Windows 10 on a new hard drive. Because both Windows are on different drives, I set Windows 10 as the default boot drive and when I need Windows 8.1, I manually boot to the old drive in BIOS.

I think you need the USB connection for the microphone. I don't use the microphone; I use my webcam's microphone.
