Z68 Extreme 4 gen 3 with Sandy (2500)

Hey i bought the i5s ivy bridge and didnt know that i was not compatible with the bios.so i sent it now and im getting a new processor so i was wondering if the i5 2500k is actualy compatible with this board and the bios?

Yes, no need for bios update for that cpu since it's a sandybridge one, only the ivybridge cpus will need update.
And of course that mobo is compatible since it was made for sandybridge cpus.
