This is my first build, and I heard a lot about the 2500k, so I bought it. And when I was at Frys, the P67's were kind of expensive so I got an Asus Z68. My dad was going to help me put everything together, but I just went ahead an tried to put in the CPU. I don't know how but, it seems like my finger rubbed on a couple of the really small pins on the motherboard, and it looks like I messed up my first PC. The CPU still went into the square or whatever and it seems fine. Don't tell me I just ruined my PC?

Unfortunately, the pins are quite sensitive, so touching them with even a small amount of force could've bent them. The circuits that pass through the pins cannot be be completed, so yes you may have ruined you pc.

Well, I'm using my laptop right now to do this, and I haven't even finished the PC. I just wanted to know if I screwed up the motherboard.

Uh, they're not pins. It's a 2500k and a Z68

Those are what I'm talking about, and some are pulled back.

Are any touching each other or bent at an angle? If so they need to be straightened before you put the CPU in. Use the guides I already linked for you.
