Bios has no option to disable virtualizaion.... I can't find it - help me disable it and I send you $20

Not really an answer. I ask because many posters have bogus information behind their question. And changing "X" won't change anything for them.

I'm downloading software and one of the instructions is to verify vtd and virtualization are both off in bold

Not prying.
Asking, because from personal experience....what requires you to turn off X in order to download Y is often malicious.
Not always, but often.
