Ordered a Z77 Extreme4 to replace a motherboard that broke on me, and I'm unable to get the system to power on.

System boot loops before showing a post on the monitor and gives me error 55 on Dr Debug.
System remains on with error code 53 with no memory installed.

I've tried G Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL and Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10 kits. I've also tried booting with single stcks installed into each individual DIMM.

Inspected the CPU socket, no bent pins.

Any other ideas before I return this board? Very dissatisfied with Asrock quality so far.

Sorry you're having problems.

That's a known issue. You'll need to RMA that board. I've had the same problem on the Extreme6 version with 2 complete sets of identical memory which worked perfectly on another ASRock motherboard. The RMA replacement board solved the problem.

Got it. Well great, as if the poor layout, ultra thin PCB, and lack of any helpful included accessories wasn't bad enough, the whole thing turned out to be totally useless. Can someone recommend a good alternative Z77 board for a 3770k on water that can handle an overclock? Maybe even a place to get it..? (Looks like Newegg dropped the chipset).
