Z77 formula oc heatsink issue

Hi there I'm pretty new to custom builds, I am planning on purchasing ASrocks Z77 formula oc mobo, with an i5 3570k with a full tower nzxt phantom, my issue is that I have read in some places that the board has minimum clearance for oversized heatsinks (going over the DDR slots and just generally not fitting), I am planning on purchasing akasas voodoo venom which is extremely large I was wondering if anyone has this board and could confirm if a large heatsink and multi fan will fit and if not what is a good alternative aside from been water cooled, thanks in advance

if you get low profile ram like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMX8GX3M2A1600C9-Performance-Desktop-Memory/dp/B0042A7CAA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1378644299&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+xms3 it won't be an issue having a large heatsink, just make sure you insert the ram before fitting the heatsink
