Im trying to flashback with my bios, im using a 32 gb usb stick that has been formatted to FAT32 and then the BRenamer put on there after unzipping it and then going over to my computer to do flashback , i put the usb in the port that says flashback usb port on the back of my tower/ mobo, i then hold the buttorn for the bios in for 3 seconds and it flashes and then it holds a blue light, what does this mean. this situation has all started from a search to find out why my BIOS doesnt even come on, AKA no post, i have posted numerous stuff on here asking what to do, nothing seems to work. it also has been indication that i have something wrong with my CPU through the red LED on the mobo, i have come across this all over the internet, i have checked weather the mobo was grounded and i have done the 1 ram card test, i don't power on my mobo when i press the bios but your not suppose to do that as i can see from tutorials that i have seen, you do not require the cpu to be in the mobo or the ram or the graphics cards but they are all in there when i do this.
this is driving me insane.

I took notice on your latest update this morning and I see you are NOT having a very good time. Right about now I would be looking at the cpu socket and ram sockets(I use a good magnifying eye loop) just to insure you do NOT have any crushed or shorted pins. If sockets look good I would start chasing down a friend who has platform similar to what you have. If a buddy has a non Devil's Canyon processor ask to borrow with stipulation "if I break it I'll buy it" and start swapping out parts. You didn't mention if your power supply was a "new" supply so if it is, do NOT rule this out as being a culprit. You do not need the processor in order to perform the Asus Flashback, just need the 24-pin power supply connect inserted on the mobo...

Finally, if you purchased all your parts locally you might consider returning them or have your local seller test each part as a courtesy. If you purchased via mail order, it's then going to get expensive from hereon...you eat costs shipping back ... no workaround on this expense. You best bet is to test each of your new parts on a friends rig and through a process of elimination rule out what is good and bad. Most importantly, if you charged via credit card you have some recourse...work with your seller and if they refuse to accept return or replacement then notify credit card company you wish to stop payment on a DOA purchase. Seller will probably NOT be too happy with this initiative however you are the unhappy customer here.
