Which should I go for? Don't plan to overclock. Plan to play bo3, battlefront, etc. Are h170 mobos new? I dont see a lot of reviews or purchases

tweed the z97 is a 1150 pin mb for haswell cpu. the h170 is the locked chipset for the newer skylake cpu. there two version of h170 mb one uses ddr4 ram the other uses older ddr3. i just built my dad a new pc with skylake cpu. i would use the h170 and skylake i5 and ddr4 for a new gaming rig. it let you drop in another cpu if needed if intel makes any more for the 1151 mb. the older haswell cpu and mb most vendor are trying to clear out the older stock.

what do you think of this build i got so far? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3DwvMp should i go for the new skylake cpu or haswell?

spend a little more or a fully modular unit..on cabling of your new pc you only need to plug i the cables you need.
i would go for the newer skylake mb.
