z97Pro code 76 with CPU red light on

Hello Forum,

Need help on a new pc build in troubleshooting a code 76 showing on the mobo. Also, the cpu red light is ON. Nothing showing on my screen during boot up.

Cpu: ¡5 4670K
GPU: evga gtx 750
PSU: corsair cx750
Mobo: Asus z97 Pro
Last four digit on mobo is 0603

Most manuals that come with the board will list every single code that can come up. Just flip through the manual and look for the error code. But to make it easy for you that code is CH DXE Initialization

Yes, I looked in the manual and that's the error message it said but what on earth does that mean?

Normally that is either a fault in the motherboard or something isn't correctly installed. Go through your system and take your ram and video card and then reconnect everything. Just push on all of your cables, reset the cmos. If that doesn't work take out the processor and inspect your socket. If all that fails call the manufacture for further instructions.
