Hi! I want to buy this motherboard: https://www.asus.com/Commercial-Servers-Workstations/Z9PAD8C/overview/

and plug in 2x e5-2670 into it.

I don't need ECC ram, but i can't seem to find any info on weather i can use regular DDR3 ram in it. Can anyone help?
Or maybe reccomend another option for this cpu. Preferably something that fits into regular ATX case. This one i found for around $300.

Well, be aware with those used Xeon processors , be sure that they are healthy and then buy them.
the information about motherboard RAM support could be found here:
https://www.asus.com/Commercial-Servers-Workstations/Z9PAD8C/HelpDesk_QVL/
and for the CPU:
https://www.asus.com/Commercial-Servers-Workstations/Z9PAD8C/HelpDesk_CPU/

so 16 Cores ! good luck having high-end rendering!

cool! Can you tell me where you found this info? or is it just standard practice? some other motherboards have specs of how much ram they support of each type, but for this one i couldnt find the info :(

im planning on using it as a render node for 3d animation.

apparantly ebay has been flooded with 2nd hand ones and they are significantly cheaper :D
