Although Conroe looks to be easy to cool, the Reserator1+ isn't that great. Check out the watercooler shoot-out.

Tested coolers in a convenient chart:

Apparently they prefer the Reserator1 over the 1+. GL :)

so baisically you just paying for the name ?

the conroe is easy to keep coop considering its engery consumption but i do plan to OC it later on.

noob cooling questions is it better to build you own watercoling kit or just get a kit ? also is there a diffence in perfomance tubing lets say a 1/2 inch to a smaller size

Depends what you want. If you want silence, than there aren't many water kits that perform WELL, and are silent. If i had the money, i would buy the Swiftech Apex Ultra, but it's not cheap. Building your own is the best way, if you can properly match the components to each other. Yes, generally, the bigger diameter the tubing, the better the performance.

As 1tanker said - Reserator is designed for silent operation and is great at that. It cools both my 3800 newcastle and 7800GT at 10% OC with a max temp of 53 degrees c in extended gaming in total silence. But that is not much better than I got with air. If silence is what you want it is a great kit. If performance is desired and you don't mind noise - there are much better cooling solutions.
