Zalman 9700 fan speeds stock?

Just curious. I opted to not install that handy speed adjuster. Is there another way to turn my fan up? Whats the stock rpms supposed to be?

I have the antec1200. with 5 120 mm fans and 1 200mm fan . lol. not too concerned about the zalman sound. Im just trying to see how to turn it way up.

I have heard that the Zalman without it's controller always runs at 100% fan speed.

I have mine turned all the way up and I don't think it's very loud at all.

Then again I have an ATI HD4870 sitting next to it with the fan at 55%. The Radeon is the loudest component in my machine by far.

just plug the zalman into the motherboard's fan connector and it will work at 100% all the time.

In Gigabyte P35DS3L there are 2 selections in BIOS to control your CPU fan speed. Voltage or PWM. I've noticed that on PWM zalman works at 100% all the time. On Voltage setting the fan is at 1300RPM and very quiet. When the processor is under heavy load the RPM increases to 1700s.
