Zalman CNP9000 Mounting

So, a few years ago I mounted my CPU Cooler on my Mobo. I didn't use the plastic part that attaches on the back of the Mobo, cause it didn't fit. I think it's called "clip support" or something. The screw holes were kinda misplaced, that's why. I used only the front part to hold the cooler. Is that bad? Nothing happened till now, but I just want to be sure.

Nothing happened. Mobo is fine. I just want to know if the Cooler might fall off or something.

If it is properly fastened and has been running a few years I do not see a problem.
