[SOLVED] Zalman CNPS12X for a 9700k?

Assuming I will get the ram and overall clearance on the motherboard with this beast, will this be enough for the 9700k if I don't plan on overclocking?
It's a brand new unit I had laying around forever and I was thinking to put it to use if it's capable.
I can get something else in case of anything, but wanted to know if anyone tried this or if this is a good combination.
The board I am planning to use it on is on the way, so I can't fit test it just yet...

I vote "NO", would pick 240mm AIO or better.

You should definitely consider an AIO Water cooler as the 9700k gets hot especially if you Overclock and you will want to Overclock in the future.
Single rad 240mm is not enough and a large twin rad AIO if it will fit in your case is best.
