Hi guys, i'm considering this motherboard, and have been doing some measurements. It looks like there is about 65mm from the center of the processor socket to the DIMM sockets. The zalman website says it needs at least 61.5mm of clearance for anything thats 39mm or above.

I looked up the dimensions of my Supertalent memory and it was 30mm tall.

It seems like everything will fit, snugly, but it should fit. I was wondering if anyone had any real world experience with this, or a similarly sized heatsink from zalman, and that motherboard? Thanks again guys ;-).

dont be too expectant... my thermaltake case had enough room to fit an s1283 with room to spare, according to the dimensions from the website. turns out, the ends of the heatpipes (ie 1 or 2 mm) stick out the side of the case, making it impossible to get on until thers holes drilled in it..

Hrmm, do you have any reccomendations for a more compact, but still decent performing heatsink?

I know zalman has 92mm fan versions of those heatsinks, but none of them seem to be compatible with lga775.
