Zalman z11 plus side panel fans

Originally the side panel fans were pulling air out from the hard drives. I thought that was wrong and switched them so they push air in.

Was this wrong? should I revert the side panel fans to pull air out?

There's really no such thing as "wrong" when it comes to fan orientation. They can be positioned inefficiently, however.

But what you have done isn't wrong.

So have I lost efficiency? If so I will revert them back to their original orientation.

Not necessarily. I'd just check to see if temps of your components are OK, but other than that I wouldn't stress it too much.

That would be incorrect. The fans are factory-positioned to pull the air out... In @ the front, out the back. It's how it works. =)

But the fans are removable for a reason. Fans don't have to stay where they are from the factory otherwise they'd be permanently installed.
