I have ran xfx 6870 hd well enough in same configuration...so I think it should not have problem probably...please help me guys....

Here at Tom's Hardware. We will never recommend using a cheap PSU. Its not like we dont like your PSU. Its just that you can actually harm the rest of your PC, and then you will end up regreting it. It could work the 460 uses 9 more watts than the 6870, but its not recommended.

Why are you replacing your 6870 anyways? you know its faster than the 460 right?
