So my bios has been updating for hours now with the same code: 'Code 70, Updating EC1 code" is this normal? Ive tried redoing the process and it doesnt let me load into the bios at all even just says bios is updating

Solution
Ensure the USB drive is formated to FAT32 and download a fresh bios.
Use Asus BIOS recovery instructiosn.

How did you stop the first BIOS update? Did you just unplug the system? BIOS updates are risky business, and you stopping it in the middle could have irrevokably broken your system.
Just to try, is the update still ongoing? If not, try to remove the CMOS battery while your system power is off at the PSU. Then hold down your power button for 10-15 seconds, then reinsert the CMOS battery and power back on.

I basically shutdown the pc like at least 6 hours after the update had initiated, which was my first attempt. I had tried also removing the battery and replacing it after a bit

By shutdown, did you hold the power button or directly unplug it from the computer/switch off the psu switch?
As for the battery, you need to hold down the power button to flush the residual power in the transistors else the data may still be retained.

Right, that's not so bad but it's not great. Can you get into the BIOS at all? If you can, try reformatting the memory stick you initially used and restart the flashing process.
Can you also give me the model number of your Motherboard? Depending on the Mobo, you may be able to flash without accessing the bios.

the only thing that loads up is the black screen which says BIOS is uodating, the screen that says Press F2 or Del to acces bios showz up but I cant put any input in. Its the Zenith Extreme X399

Also, in regards to your warranty question, I'm certain that BIOS update flashing error's are not covered. It may be a good idea to look into a third party or just contact asus customer support and ask what they recommend you do.

Ah, thanks for the tip, I completely forgot to mention FAT32 formatting, but one would assume it wouldn't have even started the first time without it.
Also, great name!
