Zip100 Drive won't work correctly after new Win2kP

I just installed win2k on my PC and now it seems as if my Zip Drive isn't working correctly. When ever I click on the associated drive (with no disk in the drive) within the explorer I get a message "D:\ is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." Everything was working fine when I was running 98SE until I installed win2k. The funny thing is that once I put the 100M disk in the drive it will read the disk fine. However, when I try to eject the disk it won't eject. I have to either manually do it or right click on the associated drive and select "Eject" from the context menu. Currently I have my CD-RW set up as secondary master and the Zip set up as secondary slave (at least that is what I'm assuming because I just purchased a new HP CD-RW and the previous CD-ROM was set to secondary master so I'm assuming the Zip Drive was already set to slave - since I don't have any documentation handy). Also, bios/cmos settings look kosher as well and I've downloaded the latest zip100 drivers per the IOMega site.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I had this problem on my zip 250. This is what I did to correct it, although I don't know why it did. Right click My Computer, click on Manage and then Disk Management. Make sure you have a disk in the drive, right click it, and reformat it. This will only work if you don't have info on the disk that you need. Let me know if it works for you.
