I purchased a video card from ZipZoomFly on Nov 23rd. It turned out to be way too low end to support the high res I play on, so I decided i'd return it via thier 30 day refund policy.

12/19/05 Filled out RMA form online.
12/21/05 Attempted to call them, after dialing long distance and being put on hold for 10 minutes I was sent to an answering machine. Hung up.
12/21/05 Email #1 sent to customer service.
12/22/05 Filled out RMA form #2 online.
12/28/05 Email #2 sent to customer service.

I have yet to hear a single word from anyone within that company. Not one email, not one phone call.

If I don't hear anything by Friday i'm going to let them battle it out with my credit card company and get a free video card out of it.

If you are going to buy anything from here.... you better be certain you won't ever need to contact them for anything or return anything.

I've has the same problem from almost every vendor. RMA are a bitch where ever you. Newegg hacks off 15% most of the time. I hope you get your money, with gas today the guys a Zip always wind up cheaper in the end for me than newegg lately.

Prices are important, but in the long run I rather spend a few extra bux up front to know I can get some help later.... www.nerdny.com I had an issue w/ a RAID card- they got the manufacturer on the phone with me and we rapped an RMA up in 10 minutes. done

Maybe I've been lucky but I've had good luck with Newegg. I
ordered a tower and when I got it the top had a big dent in it.
It wasn't from shipping since to box was perfect, so some noob
screwed it up...anyways...
I called to RMA it, 2 days later they said just keep it, full refund.
I got the another tower, added the fans from the original, and
gave the power pack to a friend building a server.

I agree they are horrible i bought a hundai lcd monitor from them and it had a few bad pixels so i RMA'd it about a week later i saw it got there and it was shipping back to me wich is odd cause i asked for a refund. so i call them and they told me that the monitor i sent back to them wasnt one they sold they accused me of swapping a good monitor for a bad one. meanwile the box they sent me had no packing slip and looked raped by fedex after a hour of cursing out the supervisor i called it quits and ate the 319 bucks i then later sold it to a friend for 250 so it kinda worked out but after the crap i went through with them me and no one else i know will ever shop there.

An update with my problems with Zipzoomfly.

I called my credit card after this whole ordeal and they investigated it for two months. I guess they wouldn't respond to the credit card company either. They called me a few weeks ago and let me know that they have issued me a full refund and reclaimed thier money back from Zipzoomfly.

Not one day later I get the following email:

Hi Jason,

My name is Hsin and I am contacting you on behalf of Zipzoomfly. I do want to apologize for the way your RMA issue was handled. What I would like to do is issue you a return label for the video card and then process a refund for you. This refund would NOT include the restocking fee that would normally be charged seeing that we are the ones at fault. Please feel free to contact me either by responding to this email or via phone. My phone number is xxxx. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Hsin Fang

Zipzoomfly

I don't plan on ever replying. My credit card got thier money, I got a free video card out of it. Hsin Fang, you can go FK yourself and I will never buy from you again.

Dude, you had some serious bad luck. Being a Zipzoomfly customer for the past two years, I have NEVER had an issue with them. I've RMA'd a Creative Zen, ATi Silencer, and a couple of other items that I have purchased from them with absolutely NO issue. If anything, don't be so hard on them. It's not like other online stores never mess up.
