Zoom 5.4.0.0 When I test Speakers and Microphone they work just fine but when when I click NEXT , it shows Your device is not working properly and
shows Speaker Speakers/Headphones and Microphone Microphone Array in green with check mark.
This will be 1st time I use Zoom and want to know if it is working correctly.

It is happening on 1 laptop and 1 desktop using latest Zoom 5.4.0.0

1. laptop is Dell E6410 I5-560M running Windows 10.
Using speakers and built-in microphone of laptop. (no headphones)

2. desktop is Z97-Extreme4 I7-4790K running Windows 10.
using Cyber Acoustics Stereo Headset, headphone with microphone AC-204
plugged into either 3.5mm port or USB using adapter

Do you get the same error using the web client vs installing it?

Haven't tried the web client. Don't have a Meeting ID.
I am just trying to understand the software and if it will
work when I have to use it later on.
This will be 1st time I use Zoom

I'll be honest, I can't be sure if it'll work or not. I recommend using the web client. I have found with my school meetings that I do not ever need to speak; only listen. There's a chat function in zoom. So if you can get a test tone to play from zoom into your headphones than that's really all you need if you don't need to talk.

I will be participating in a focus group and/or will be interviewed by host.
thanks for your help!
(They will probably provide me with a Meeting ID.)
