zoom h1 mic muting other sites

So recently my zoom h1 has been muting other sites when i use it for discord. Now as soon as i plug it in i cant hear anything even when discord is not in use please help. Running windows 10

Based off of your product's support site the drivers found are meant for Windows 8(max) so any and or all updates and drivers as well as firmware should be installed using the compatibility mode:
Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility tab>Windows 8[from drop down menu]

mind you, please read through the documents in the downloads section to bring yourself up to speed with any necessary firmware updates and how to do them. Improper update can result in a bricked piece of hardware.
