Hello there,

I've recently started working as a Zoom Operator however i've run into a rather persistent problem. It seems Zoom is causing my Graphics driver to Crash, At least thats what it looks like from the event viewer. So basically I will start zoom up and it seems the moment I turn on my Camera or someone connects with a camera, not sure if its either one. The display driver stops responding, sometimes it resumes quick enough that there is no issues, but then sometimes it seems that it fully crashes zoom. The problem with that is that if I disconnect the show will not go on. The things I have already tried and my system specs are below

Things I've tried
Reinstall windows
Reinstall windows using a media tool to a new SSD
reinstall graphics drivers several times
uninstalled any conflicting applications like skype, aura sync, icue things that affect the hardware
disabled Hardware Acceleration on the client
enabled max performance in Nvidia Settings

Its very weird sometimes it can go for a long time without issues, the next it will crash unexpectedly, I've attached the 3 error logs that show up in event viewer below
Code:
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

MSI Armor GTX 1070ti
Ryzen 7 3700x cpu
corsair vs650watt PSU

Monitor (dual monitors) = Acer 27' 165hz gaming monitor, acer 21' 60hz secondary monitor.

I have absolutely no other issues with any other program or game other than Zoom, im running out of ideas on how to fix it. Im believing it could be a hardware issue but again, its the only application that gives issues, All my games, discord, etc is fine.

Take the cover off & watch the fans, do they stop or behave erratically?

They do start and stop but that is normal for my model they spin depending on the temp of the card. I always have afterburner up monitoring heat of the card.

I also play games everyday, some heavy hitters too, Valorant, COD, Cyberpunk, sea of thieves. Can play them for hours with no problems. It literally just zoom

should i try manually setting the fan speed?

How old is that corsair vs650watt PSU?

You noted errors in Event Viewer: what about Reliability History?

Has Zoom been reinstalled?

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance. Use both but only one at a time.

Watch after first boot while computer "idles". Then continue watching doing light browsing, some gaming, and lastly Zoom.

Determine what resources are being used, to what extent (%), and what is using any given resource.

You may need to mix and match things a bit by removing apps etc. from Startup in order to get Zoom to run.

Everything has been reinstalled several times, including the operating system.

The PSU is about 5 years old, however the fan is spinning fine, the power coming into it is coming from a UPS with built in inverter and monitoring software so the power to the pc is clean. Zoom is literally the only program that is struggling. Will try the monitoring while gaming
