Zotac 1080 Ti AMP Extreme

Hello,

My GPU isn't recognised in the Asus bios. I have a Delux II MB. I don't have the most recent bios, just spoke to a really rude rep from Asus who was as helpful as a plaster after bullet to the head.

Is my GPU not compatible with Asus motherboards?

He said I might have an expensive paper weight if the bios update went bad. I just built the system a couple of days ago.

Shouldn't the 1080 Ti GPUs work in the Deluxe II? From what I can tell reviewers and users seem to think that this MB is great and modern enough.

Any help would be great. Has anyone had a similar problem with this combination of MB and GPU?

If you are getting a display output from the GTX 1080ti, it's already working.

Hi and thanks for replying.
I thought so too but I can't do a manual fan speed test through Firestorm or MSI Afterburner. The fans rotate when stress testing but I'm thinking that not being able to manual test is a compatability issue. I should have included this in my original post.

Not sure about the fan speed but have you tried zotac Firestorm software?
