Question Zotac 4080 Super Amp Extreme Airo - Connector Tabs

Evening all.

Just purchased a new Zotac 4080 Super Amp Extreme Airo a few days ago from Microcenter. I went an installed it today and upon connecting the 12vhpwr to the card, the retention tab on the card snapped off as soon as the cable latch touched it. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? How has Zotac warranty department been? I have the option to return the card to Microcenter, but we do not have any other 4080 supers in stock, so I would likely grab a 7900 xtx to replace if I did that.

Can you pass on images depicting the extent of the damage? Host your images on a site like Imgur or their ilk and then pass on the link to said image here on your thread.

I knew I forgot something. This is the clearest photo I could get of the connector. You will see where the tab just sheared off.
