I don't really know where to put this thread so i'm putting it here, also english isn't my main language so i'm sorry if i'm hard to understand.
My Pc Specs:
MB: MSI Z77-G43
CPU: Intel i5 3570k
GPU: Zotac Nvidia Geforce 660 ti Amp! Edition
I also have a "Creative SB Audigy Value 7.1" sound card.
I bought this system about a year ago, assembled on my own and had no problems since now, about a month ago i replaced my Xigmatec apache 2 cooler with a cooler master vortex 221q and i had no problems until recently.
I was playing DMC devil may cry and the game suddenly froze,as in sound started looping, screen went white and while mouse and keyboard light were on commands like alt-f4 and ctrl-alt-del didn't respond.
I reapplied the thermal paste on my cpu and changed the cooler back to stock cause vortex didn't really fi?t nicely as it had kind of motion when i tried to move it.
And now i'm trying to play Batman Arkham Origins and its doing the same thing.
My tempatures are:
CPU Idle: 40
CPU In Game: 65 to 70
GPU Idle: 36
GPU In Game: around 70
I also live in a hot place as my room tempatures are between 30 to 36 degrees.
What can be causing this? Can the GPU's thermal paste have melted?
