I live in the US and I've been looking everywhere for this GPU, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Is it not released yet, or is it not available in the US. I also may just be blond and if so would love a link to where I can buy it.

Thanks for any responses

The GTX 970 in general is very popular and often runs out of stock. So looking for a particular model could be even harder.

Newegg seem to be out of stock but at least it looks like they do sell it http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500364&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Newegg comes and goes. What is it about that specific gpu that you like? the gigabyte is a top performer of the 970, personally I love my asus strix, I've hit 1.49ghz core over clocking it, and its a beautiful and quiet card. Not saying the zotac isn't a good card, just wondering why you're targeting it specifically?

No specific reason, but just when I saw the specs I was amazed. I have a 8800 GTX right now, don't laugh, so anything would be better. What is the best 970 for under 400?

that's debatable. the MSI is (last I checked) considered the best for overclocking. Like I said, I love my strix. They come with a back plate, cost me only 350 a piece, and overclocked very well. Silent too. The fans dont even kick on until the gpus hit 68c, and the highest mine has ever seen was 71c, with only 20% fan, which is still silent, and that's with the overclocks.

Personally I wouldnt. I just went from a 290x. AMD has been so power hungry and hot, not to mention that it took a good while for non reference design cards to come out, and the reference design was garbage. That being said I'm sure they'll be great performers, but it depends on how long you want to wait as at this point we really have no time frame.
