Tack on $100 for a monitor and you are getting awfully close to what a Liano laptop costs...

Whoaaa.. I want a BD recorder or at least a player in there too ;-)
boohoo... just a little slim line could have fit at the bottom. and yes, I know there are external USB or e-sata available, but that defeats the point.

You must surely mean $0 for that big HDTV you already paid for which you'll be using as a monitor for this diminutive beast.

Beat me to it...was going to say exactly the same thing - these are perfect as HTPCs

I have to agree that it's a good idea for the few that like this sort of space saver idea, but for me,I prefer the full quid idea of making my own desktop computer & using my own choice of hardware, software, etc.

With the 1.6 GHz dual core processor,I wonder what the Vista or Windows 7 index score rating would be,especially if you would install an SSD & install windows 7 Pro or Ultimate on it with only 4 GBs of ram. for either a x32 bit or x64 bit operating system?

Still waiting for first tv to have this kind of thing built into it. However, have it so you can upgrade or replace the computer part. Figure we would have it by now.

Not bad at all. The bare version may be my next little project for a HTPC with some NAS for all my multimedia. Would cost a lot less to have it on all the time vs the PC I keep in my closet at the moment for the very same purpose. Plus I could afford a nice, big new TV with the money Id be saving vs upgrading that aging beast in the back.

And I believe I saw a suggested $175-$200 price tag for the bare version floating around on some of the sites I read. If I find it, i'll link it on here later. I think it was Fudzilla, but Im brainfarting at the moment (long day already)

Zotac has the version with the BD player, but it's not palm sized.

These computers are mainly designed for using as a home theater computer. With that being the case, I'd like to see an infrared port added for using a remote control. Maybe even have a model that comes with a remote as well. I would use my logitech harmony, but I'd think that anyone that doesn't have one would like having a remote as an option.
