Zotac Geforce GT240

Hello,
I got a Zotac Geforce GT240 about 3 or 4 months ago and it was running good and still is but the temp seems rlly high and im just a bit worried it could damage the card when im playing games its at around 60C to 85C in idle around 30C to 50C is that to high whats average? thanks

Those temps are fine for a graphics card. Should be fine all the way up to 95c.

Not bad, but it could be lower.
My HD 6750 never breaks 65C when gaming (most demanding games I play are GTA IV, Metro 2033, and Crysis 2).
How's your ventilation in your case?
Did your overclock your GPU?
What's your fan speed?

Its not the best case its one of the small ones and has a bigger motherboard in it, no i haven't overclocked, my Gpu fan Speed is about 8000rpm at 70C thanks

After looking into it more, I see quite a number of GT 240s may run warm (probably because of the cheap cooling on most of them).
As long as it doesn't break 85C, it should be fine.
