ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 3GB or ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 ti 4gb?

A weird question to ask but is a 1060 Mini 3GB worth it? I'm considering buying one and i can't past up the price of 160$+ dollars for it? i heard the new 1050 2gb or 1050ti has 4gb. But its in the price range of 139+ but i can't find any that cheap at the moment since is new.. I wanted the rx470 or 480 but it seem to be out of my price range... any help please?

Also does anyone know a great benchmark site to test things out? i can't find any with 1050ti benchmarks at the moment...

Yes, the 1060 has more GPU capabilities and more processing power. Go for the 1060 mini if it fits your budget. If not, go for the GTX 1050Ti 4GB.

If you're able to afford the 1060 I don't see why you can't get an rx470? The 470 is cheaper than 1060. Unless it's just more difficult in your country?

1050 is a good budget card, if you can get the 1060 then go for it. Only"big" issue with those mini cards is that the coooler is not the greatest on them, on some intensive games you may run pretty hot on the gpu

I live in the u.s. My budget is 165 dollars. I was tempted to pay 220-250 fir a rx480, Which i know isn't the real price...Its way to much for me..... i was taking alot of things to consideration, From my earlier thread. I have a I3 2120 cpu.. so it isn't the best out there. For sure it will bottleneck my gpu. I'm thinking of just building a new computer later next year and prices of video cards are always changing.. every year its better. I haven't upgraded my gpu in 4 years so i'm sure this beats out my old Radeon 7750 lol.

I'm pretty bummed out knowing that it doesn't have the best cooler. Any other suggestions to help avoid that? Maybe some extra fan or cooler? (well i don't play on 1080p screen i don't have a great monitor just yet)

Nothing really that you can do about the fan. There is no point to a alter it because that costs money, which you could just put to a better card. Don't get me wrong here, it's still a 1060 and works like 1060 but full sized cards are better, because of better cooling and less compromised design.

Casual gamer here so i don't play much at all, I never overclock also. About the card if that the case i prob should just buy a cheaper video card like a 750ti under 110 dollars? But i'm consider long term here. I want a gpu that will last me until next year or the year after until i am able to upgrade my whole ram, mb, etc

Hard to decide i made 2 threads suggest i should get gtx 1060 the other said don't lol which is it?!!! can't decide lol if people weren't such jerks with the prices and quit price gouging it will be easier lol.

What the normal temperature for gpu then?

Normal temp you want to sit around 60c under load. 70c is not killer, but it's nearing 80c e which is where you don't want to be. I looked up temp for 1060, and max is 92c. Some suggestions were to use MSI afterburner program (used for overclocking) to manually set the heatsink fan to higher speed to keep temps down, => stress on your fan and noise.

If you are buying a new system next year, you can imagine that the prices will be lower as you said. If you don't really need the gpu (for gaming needs) then just hold off. If you are still stuck in upgrading then wait for some sales, black Friday/Christmas to get a good deal.

As far as getting a low end gpu.... Your 7750 is pretty much on par 750ti, so that's a waste. Rx460 is a bit better.

You could get a 1060 => will not perform at 100% on games because of your cpu, so it feels like wasted money. This comes down to certain games you play. The more a game is CPU intensive the less you will see that new gpu doing (just example). The 1060 will work. But seems a bit of a waste

That very disheartening to hear. but i get what you mean thank you... Part of me want to step away from computer building and never go near it!

It's just that your current situation is not ideal.

Just next time while building a system, try get an i5 , even a cheaper one will last you much better than an i3 with much less bottleneck issues. That's about the biggest problem that happened for you
