I am thinking of getting Zotac GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB AMP! Extreme, I just want to know if its worth it or not and if you own it your personal opinion about it
980 ti is a great card, a little overkill for 1080P unless u run 144hz but it runs 1440P really well too. Like al pacino says, I would wait it out for another month or two and check new cards from both sides...nvidia is supposed to also be launching 1070 and 1080 around june, or so the rumors go. I think around computex or a private event before computex we'll get launch details for the new nv cards and amd will probably give us their details around that time too.
Don't know how fast they will be but 1070 could be close to or = 980 ti stock for $349 and 1080 should beat an oc ti or at least tie it...you'll get more info about dx12 and async abilities and whether or not the new cards will have enough brute force to win out... if...
Amd's new polaris architecture is due to be released soon and if current rumors are correct it is expected to perform roughly the same as the 980ti but will only cost $300ish.
I haven't got a build yet, this GPU I am looking at is for my first build. If you have any suggestion on what I should get then tell me plz (my budget is £1200)

I think Amd is going more for perf/$ so don't expect these first cards to be destroying furyx and 980 ti...I think they're trying to bring maybe stock fury or stock nano level performance around the $300 mark but we wont know for sure for another month or so. And then the big guns for both NV and AMD come early 2017.
Can you recommend any parts I should use for my build
The link you showed for your build, didn't show anything...power supply is one of the main things you don't want to cheap out on and then mobo's are all pretty good, it just depends what features you want, etc...don't know what cpu you're planning on either but intel is still the way to go until zen comes out but that wont be till end of the year I think or early 2017.
I was thinking to go with intel 6600k, Cooler Master Seidon 120V VER.2 76.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler, Gigabyte GA-H170-HD3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard, G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory, Phanteks Enthoo Pro M ATX Mid Tower Case,
