Question zotac gt 710 dell demision 3100 win 7

I am trying to get a digital out for my computer so I install the card above. I can get the computer to load w/o any problems w/o drivers installed. The moment I install drivers, windows just locks up on the splash screen. Any help would be appreciated w/o the typical response of why not just get a newer machine.
