Zotac gtx 1070 mini vs EVGA gtx 1070 SC

Whats best a gtx 1070 mini from zotac or a gtx 1070 superclocked black edition from EVGA
I wonder which has the best thermals and which will perform better. I read that the zotac mini had better temps which seemed odd and anormal to me
So what are the differences beetween both cards?
Also would it impact performance that the gtx 1070 SC BLACK EDITION has no backplates?

I'm not sure where you read that but it's not true. The first 2 gameplay videos I just watched of the Zotac GTX 1070 Mini it was running at 73-74C, which is about 10C more than my EVGA GTX 1070 SC, which to my recollection has never seen 70C or higher even on stock fan curve.

I do not believe the backplate (or lack of) would affect performance or even thermals. I've actually heard that they can trap heat in causing higher temps. But I don't konw.
