ZOTAC GTX 460 vs MSI 5770

I've been looking into both of these video cards for quite some time now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500202 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127490 I just can't decide between the two.(BTW) I have this right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150314&cm_re=xfx_9800gtx%2b-_-14-150-314-_-Product . I love the ZOTAC card but the MSI card has 800 stream processors compared to 336 on the ZOTAC. The memory clock on the ZOTAC is 3 times faster than the MSI, I was wondering if the stream processor difference is worth the the memory clock difference and the 128 bit vs 256 bit difference. The GTX 460 is better, though I would look at a HD 6850, as it has the same performance as a GTX 460, but uses a lot less power.

I do like the specs of the 6850 but the memory clock is just so much slower, I am seeing around 1000 Mhz as compared to the 460's 3600 Mhz. Also the price of the 460 is much more friendly too me. The question is, is the amount of stream processors worth the major drop in memory clock? But for the price of the 460 its still a great upgrade correct?

Ok none of what you are worried about is relevant. Each company use different Architectures, what AMD call a shader is nothing like what Nvidia call a shader. the amount is not important the performance is all that matters.
the memory clocks are being reported in different formats as well. The 5770 is 4800 vs the 3600 of the 460 when put in teh same format. The 460 is seriously better than the MSI card to the point of being in a different performance segment in my opinion.
The main thing you need to consider here is will you over clock ? If not then while still a good card the 460 would be a waste as the cards over clock really well up to the level of a 5850. I'm sure the 6850 probably does as well but then you need to consider budget and price.

As i said dont look at the numbers just the performance.

Thanks for the informative reply. I am now leaning towards the 6850 due to the stream processors. I have never been one to overclock my hardware so I don't foresee doing that. Should I be looking at stream processors as the main deciding point? Thanks

No, Stream processors do not matter as both companies, (AMD and Nvidia) , use different architecture, you should be searching benchmark results to decide which card to buy.
