Hi, i want to ask here, i need a little help to decide witch gpu to buy...
first of all, im from argentina, so, many of the products does not come here.
im putting my budget to the edge and head to head we have...
gtx 970 by zotac (no oc version or extreme or omega, just the first version)
vs
gtx 780 galaxy hof (used, very very good version and brand new actually for a used product)

i see a lot of reviews and benchs, and i know that 970 are prepair for dx 12, but zotac isnt a god of my devotion... i got a 560ti in the past and it sucks...

i never handle a vga much longer than a year... so im considering already to change it if i buy the 780 for the time when games really use dx12 for example... so i will put that factor out of the board.

I open to any advise or suggestion. thanks a lot!

Hi,
Go for the GTX970. There is no need to update the GPU every year, unless you contineously by the cheapest GPU around, which it doesn't sound like you do.

The GTX970 shouldn't have a problem at 1080p with 99% of games. I would go for the 970 so that you are already prepared for DX12 rather than spending $200 on a GPU now, then in a year another $200-$300.

Can your current PSU handle either of these cards?
