Hello. I just picked up a Zotac 980 Ti Amp! Extreme and it is idling around 46c, or so. I have read that is normal for this card, but can be lowered with a program like Afterburner.

I dowloaded Afterburner and I am wondering if someone can help me with a fan profile. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you in advance for your response.

So you're looking for a fan curve that will lower your temps. Do you want it to be lowered just at idle, or lowered at gaming as well?
If you are willing to sacrifice noise for temps, you can use this profile https://gyazo.com/b249418d40a6b12d2b7da325da9a37f0
What it means is every 10 or so degrees, your fans will spin 10% faster or slower accordingly. You don't have to follow this exactly, this is just an example of a fan curve I would use.
