I know its better to build your own pc, but I saw this deal http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11289511&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=&lang=en-US

Is it possible to overclock? I know on my compaq that I have now that I bought back at thanksgiving, overclocking is disabled.

I e-mailed zt systems and this was the reply:

"Dear Customer,

It depends on the motherboard and the BIOS Version. We usually do not "disable" this feature or any feature for that matter."

I haven't dealt with any other brands other than hp and compaq so yea, maybe someone else can tell me

From what I've seen Zt seems to be a pretty good company, I'd say there's a fair chance you'll be able OC (of course say good bye warranty) or it'll only require a lil work to do so.

yea i ended up mock-building one on newegg, and the grand total came up to 580 bucks and 605 with tax. But instead of a quad core i put in a e8400 core 2 duo. Thanks guys, i guess i'll pass 😛
